We are only going to visit together the free part of the Alhambra. If you want to see more, you should buy the ticket in advance but the visit will be by yourself.
At the foot of the Sierra Nevada there is the city considered the most exotic of Andalusia: Granada. In Granada you can feel the great mix of cultures found in each of its streets.
During this visit we are going to walk around in the Albaicín, and make you fall in love with the monumental buildings of the nineteenth century.
And after all the walking we are going to contemplate the Alhambra from the viewpoint of San Nicolás. And ofcourse we are going to enjoy the typical Andalusian tapas.

La Alhambra is an Andalusian palatine city located in the Sabika Mountain in Granada. It is a set of palaces, gardens and fortress that shelter an independent citadel inside of Granada ́s city. There was the residence of the sultan and his family and the Nasrid Kingdom court of Granada.
The statue in this square reminds the Capitulation of Santa Fe, when the Catholic Royals designated Columbus governor, viceroy and admiral of all the territories that he would have discovered during his life.
Together we will discover the history of Columbus and the Queen Isabel!
It is a typical Muslim neighborhood, made by narrow streets where previously was collocated the old Muslim market. The name was given after that the emperor Justinian allowed the Arabs to sell silk, and this place started to be called al-kaysar-ia that means the “Place of Cesar”.
The Cathedral of the Encarnacion of Grandada started to be built in 1526 and was finished in 1561. The main idea was a Cathedral with two towers taller than 80 meters, but for various problems was built only one tower.
Together we will learn why is the Cathedral in unfinished!
This neighborhood of Albaicín is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
From the time of its foundation in 1033 by the Arabs, it was seen as a remote area of the city since it could have been a shelter for the Muslims expelled after the Christian Reconquest.
After that Bill Clinton visited the viewpoint of San Nicolas in 1977, admitting that he saw the “most beautiful sunset of the world”, it becomes a place that every tourist must visit. From here you can admire the Alhambra, the Serranía and all the city.
If you haven’t been to the Viewpoint of San Nicolas, you haven’t been in Granada!
