Free Tour is the easiest and most awesome way to do a city tour.

You will discover our fascinating monuments, culture, and legends. You will experience the feel of day-to-day life here in Málaga. Let us welcome you to the city!

WHY TO CHOOSE US?

In the Free Tour in Malaga, you will meet with our city guides in a clear, entertaining and fun way. We do not like to give a recital of dates and data, our goal is to create a unique experience during the guided tour, some smiles and like us… That you fall in love with Malaga, something quite easy.

Also, our pet Indiana, a Czech wolfhound that can spend mornings at home, also comes to our free walking tour. We would like to help with the option that can be placed on the back by taking videos and photographs during the guided tour.

MEETING POINT: In front of the Cathedral, Plaza del Obispo

LOOK FOR OUR RED UMBRELLA

1

La plaza del Obispo

The Plaza del Obispo, is one of the most important squares in the city since the oldest times. And here we start the tour. There you could see Bishop’s Palace, which was built in 1762 and the Cathedral of Malaga, which is that is the signature of Malaga.

La Calle Larios

Calle Larios, besides being a famous shopping street together with Plaza Constitución, always were in center of important and historical events of Spain.

3

El mercado de Atarazanas

The market of Atarazanas with signs of a Nazari shipyard in the XIV century that after the Christian Conquest of the city was used as warehouse, arsenal, military hospital and barracks.

4

La plaza de la Constitución

The Plaza de la Constitución has been a sensitive center of life in Malaga since the times of the Reconquista.
6

La Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación de Málaga

The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Incarnation of Malaga, also called “The Manquita”, was built on the main Mosque of Malaga in 1528 and almost finished 200 years later. This most significant monument of Malaga is full of history and curiosities as well.

La Cofradía de los Estudiantes

Malaga has 42 fraternities and brotherhoods. Brotherhood of Students is one of those and located on Calle Alcazabilla. It has two thrones of impressive eternity that represents the figure of the Virgin and Jesus Christ.

La Casa Natal de Picasso

In front of the birthplace of Picasso, we will find a figure of the artist himself looking at the square where he used to play when he was a child.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I PAY?

A Free tour is a tip-based concept. It is the most popular way to explore the city without worrying about in-advance booking, online payments or cancelation policies. There is no upfront fee for our tour. You decide the price after the tour is finished based on your level of satisfaction.

If you liked the tour and were happy with our guides’ performance, show them your appreciation and tip them accordingly. Our guides are not volunteers. They are official tour guides and showing their awesome city is how they make a living.

Still not sure how much to tip? The common courtesy is to tip € 10. If you really enjoyed the tour feel free to give more! If the tour wasn’t what you expected, you don’t have to pay anything. 4That’s another advantage of the Free tour!

I HAVE CHILDREN, WILL THEY GET BORED DURING THE TOUR AROUND MALAGA?

Not at all! We are used to making tours for school groups and we know how to get along so that both children and adults have a great time during the tour. We like to take children as volunteers to help us in explanations and be participants throughout the visit.

IS THE TOUR SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY OR BABY STROLLERS?

Clear! The entire Historic Center of Malaga is adapted so that everyone can move around without problems with a wheelchair and the tour is carried out on a surface without stairs. Also, our tours are not excessively long, they are only 1h 45 min which will fly by from the first moment we show you our sense of humor from Malaga … AND OLÉ !!

DO YOU MAKE STOPS DURING THE TOUR?

We make a stop at the Mercado de Málaga, where we stay for 10 minutes in case someone needs to go to the bathroom or want to buy cherries, strawberries, mangoes or any other fruit or snacks.

We do not make stops in pre-agreed bars or restaurants where they take commission, we are against it. We prefer to show you our beautiful market and you will be free to venture to taste the delicious fruit there. Cheap, rich and healthy. Can you ask for more?

WE ARE 100% PET-FRIENDLY

Are you traveling with your pet? Dog, horse, unicorn … Do not leave it at the hotel, bring it! He is also traveling with you and our guides will be happy to meet you and may have a surprise for them.

In our company, we have two Czechoslovakian wolfhounds, which sometimes accompany us on our free tours in Malaga and have a GoPro on the back with which they make videos and photos during the tour that we then send to our customers by email.

WHAT IF I DO NOT LIKE DOGS?

Do not worry! Our dog companions do not come every day, but if you accompany us during the guided tour you will see that they are very good and win the hearts of everyone. But if you still do not like the idea, there are always other companies that can make you a tour of Malaga… although they will not be as fun as we are. 😉

We are a family of four from Belfast Ireland. We had a tour with Ana on the 5th July. We arrived into Malaga late the night before and knew nothing about the town. Ana was most engaging and told us some interesting stories about Malaga as we walked around the city. The walking tour is a great way to get the feeling for the city you are visiting. Ana was very knowledgable and she engaged well with us all. We enjoyed her company and her enthusiasm for the wonderful city of Malaga. Mucho Gracias Ana

I did a free tour with Enrique, and it was very interesting. He told the story of Malaga in a fun way that made the visit magnificent, because there was an unpleasant environment, mass pain. I recommend!
